Functions: ensure proper management of national systems of copyright and related rights and industrial property; promote and encourage intellectual creativity, both in its literary form, artistic or scientific work, as well as in his field of industrial application, and dissemination of technological knowledge within the cultural and productive sectors; advise and participate in the formulation of national policies in all matters dealing with protection of intellectual property and other related areas; promote initiatives and activities aimed at developing better understanding and protection of industrial property at the national level.
