The Netherlands Programmes for Sustainable Biomass (NPSB) bundle the knowledge from the biomass-project portfolio of NL Agency and fill the knowledge gaps with supplementary research.

It is no longer possible to request a subsidy within the Sustainable Biomass Import and Global Sustainable Biomass programmes.

Innovation Credit is a loan from the government for the technical or clinical development of a new product, process or service. Funding 35 % (SME companies) or 25 % (non SME companies) of the (allowable) project costs with a maximum of € 5 million with pay back within 10 years after successful conclusion of project.

Only technologically innovative and unique to the Netherlands, Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba projects eligible. Technical feasibility needs to be established and all activities must be able to be supported. Company shall be capable of financing the remaining 65 or 75 % of the project costs and the whole costs of commercialisation.
